Does Custos send my text anywhere?

No. Everything runs locally.

How does generalization work?

Amounts become size bands, known merchants become categories, income and balances are withheld, and identifiers become consistent placeholders like [CARD_1].

Is it perfect?

No. Review every result. Custos may miss data, especially unusual formats or names.

Can the extension read my passwords?

No. Password, number, telephone and email-type fields are ignored, and the extension sends nothing off-device.

Do the dashboard and extension share data?

No; each keeps separate local storage.
